Feeding Habits:
Trilobites were opportunistic feeders and ate a variety of prey, ranging from plankton to other arthropods like brachiopods and crinoids. Some trilobite species had specialized appendages that allowed them to grab and crush their prey, while others had a filter-feeding apparatus.

Importance in the fossil record:
Trilobites are an important group of organisms in the fossil record.
