Prevention of viral infections primarily involves avoiding exposure to the virus, maintaining good hygiene practices such as washing hands regularly, wearing masks to prevent airborne transmission, and getting vaccinated against certain viruses. Treatment for viral infections typically involves supportive care and medication to manage symptoms, as there is no cure for most viral infections.
