Infective stage of a Palsmodium?
Sporozoites
The infective stage of the Plasmodium, which is the parasite responsible for causing malaria, is the sporozoite. The sporozoites are found in the salivary glands of female Anopheles mosquitoes and are injected into human hosts when the mosquitoes feed. Once inside the human host’s bloodstream, the sporozoites travel to the liver, where they enter the liver cells and replicate. This replication process produces merozoites, which are released into the bloodstream to infect red blood cells and cause malaria symptoms. So, the sporozoite is the infective stage of Plasmodium.
