Progenitor cells are stem cells that have the potential to differentiate into various types of immune and blood cells. Progenitor cells are precursors to both the B and T cells. They can differentiate into different subtypes of B and T cells, giving rise to a wide variety of immune cells.

Overall, B cells and T cells are critical for a healthy immune system, while progenitor cells provide a reservoir for replenishing immune cells. Together, these immune cells work to protect the body from harmful pathogens and maintain optimal health.
