2. Right ventricle: Situated below the right atrium, the right ventricle receives deoxygenated blood from the right atrium. It then contracts and pumps the blood out of the heart and into the lungs through the pulmonary artery. The right ventricle is responsible for sending blood to the lungs, where it picks up oxygen and gets rid of carbon dioxide.

3. Left atrium: Positioned in the upper-left part of the heart, the left atrium plays a role in receiving oxygenated blood from the lungs. This oxygenated blood enters the left atrium through the pulmonary veins. The left atrium then contracts, pushing the blood into the left ventricle.

4. Left ventricle: This chamber is located below the left atrium and is the largest and strongest of the heart’s chambers. The left ventricle is responsible for pumping oxygenated blood received from the left atrium out to the rest of the body through a large artery called the aorta.
