2. Parietal Lobe: The parietal lobe is situated behind the frontal lobe and is responsible for processing sensory information from the body, such as touch, temperature, pain, and bodily awareness. It plays a role in spatial awareness, perception, and spatial cognition.

3. Temporal Lobe: The temporal lobe is located on the sides of the brain, just above the ears. It is involved in processing auditory information and is responsible for hearing, language comprehension, and memory functions. The temporal lobe also plays a role in processing visual information and recognizing faces.

4. Occipital Lobe: The occipital lobe is situated at the back of the brain and is primarily responsible for processing visual information. It receives and interprets signals from the eyes and helps in recognizing shapes, colors, and objects in the environment.

All these regions within the cerebral cortex work together to enable us to think, reason, plan, solve problems, speak, and experience emotions. Damage or dysfunction in any of these areas can lead to various cognitive and behavioral impairments. The cerebral cortex is an incredibly complex and fascinating part of the brain that allows us to carry out these higher-order functions that define human intelligence.
