Formula for area of a parallelogram
A=bxh
The formula for the area of a parallelogram is:
A = b * h
Where:
A = Area of parallelogram
b = Length of the base of parallelogram
h = Height/altitude of the parallelogram
We can also use the formula:
A = |a x b|
Where:
a = any side of the parallelogram
b = adjacent side of the parallelogram
x = cross product of vectors a and b
By taking the modulus of the cross product, we get the area of the parallelogram.
