The equation for force can be expressed as:
F = m × a
where,
F is the force applied on an object measured in Newtons (N)
m is the mass of the object measured in kilograms (kg)
a is the acceleration of the object measured in meters per second squared (m/s²)
This equation is also known as Newton’s second law of motion. It states that the acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the force applied to it and inversely proportional to its mass. Therefore, if a greater force is applied to an object with the same mass, it will accelerate faster. Similarly, if the same force is applied to an object with a greater mass, it will accelerate slower.
