2. Blood glucose level: The body regulates blood glucose levels to ensure that there is enough glucose available to provide energy for the cells but not too much, which can lead to health problems like diabetes. Insulin and glucagon hormones regulate blood glucose levels in the body.

3. pH balance: The body regulates the pH of its internal environment to maintain a balance between acidity and alkalinity. The pH of the blood is maintained between 7.35 and 7.45 through mechanisms like bicarbonate buffering and the removal of excess acids by the kidneys.

Overall, homeostasis is important because it helps to maintain the optimal internal conditions required for the cells and organs to function properly, and any disruption in homeostasis can lead to disease or even death.
