Radiation is when thermal energy is transferred through electromagnetic waves, such as the warmth we feel from the sun.
Thermal energy plays an important role in many scientific fields, including thermodynamics and heat transfer. It is also a fundamental concept in everyday life, from cooking food to heating our homes.
