Where is the bronchus?
Between the trachea and bronchiole
The bronchus is a part of the respiratory system located in the lungs. There are two bronchi, one leading to each lung. They are basically tubes that divide into smaller and smaller tubes, called bronchioles, which ultimately lead to the tiny air sacs, called alveoli. The bronchi serve as a passageway for the air to enter and exit the lungs, and they are responsible for carrying air to and from the lungs for the purposes of oxygenating the blood and expelling carbon dioxide from the body.
