Pangasinan Capitol is the official seat of the Governor and other administrative offices of the Provincial Government of Pangasinan, located in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines. The Capitol building is an iconic edifice in the province, with its white-painted, neoclassical columns and well-manicured gardens.
The building was designed by Architect Ralph Harrington Doane in 1917, during the American colonial era. It was destroyed during the second World War and was rebuilt in 1949, with a facelift in 2017.
Today, the Pangasinan Capitol houses various provincial government offices, such as the Provincial Governor’s Office, the Vice Governor’s Office, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, and the Provincial Assessor’s Office, among others.
The capitol also serves as a venue for cultural events, including the annual Pistay Dayat Festival. The building and its surroundings are open to the public during office hours and offer great photo opportunities for tourists and locals alike.
