Convex polygons have all interior angles less than 180 degrees, while concave polygons have at least one interior angle greater than 180 degrees.

The perimeter of a polygon is the sum of the lengths of all its sides, while the area of a polygon can be calculated using different formulas depending on the shape and dimensions of the polygon.
