Rhombus
A parallelogram with 4 congruent sides
A rhombus is a type of quadrilateral (i.e., a four-sided polygon) in which all sides are of equal length. A rhombus is also known as a diamond. It is a special type of parallelogram in which both pairs of opposite sides are parallel, and the opposite angles are equal. The adjacent angles of a rhombus add up to 180 degrees, and each diagonal bisects the opposite angle forming two congruent triangles. The area of a rhombus can be calculated by multiplying one-half the product of the diagonals. Additionally, the perimeter of a rhombus can be found by multiplying the length of any side by four.
